The Cardiac Science Powerheart G5 AED is the first defibrillator to combine real-time CPR feedback, user-paced instruction, intuitive pad design, fully-automatic shock delivery, variable escalating energy and fast shock times.
This easy-to-use AED has advanced therapy to help save lives and can be used by responders of all levels. The Powerheart G5 AED has Rescue Ready technology which self-checks all main AED components (battery, hardware, software and pads) daily; making it one of the most reliable AED's on the market.
It completes a partical charge of the high voltage electronics weekly and full charge monthly. RescueCoach gives user-paced prompts guiding responders through each critical step of a rescue. Extra help is provided via on-screen text prompts which can be useful in loud, chaotic environments. The prompts, protocols and CPR feedback can all be easily customised to meet the needs and preferences of the user.
The G5 assesses the casualty's therapy needs and delivers tailored shocks at the suitable energy level. It provides shock delivery within 10 seconds (typically) post-CPR. The G5 AED is available in Automatic and Semi-Automatic with the Automatic AED administering fully automatic shocks to eradicate user hesitation.
