By creating a slight distance between the rescuer and the casualty the pocket mask also makes seeing patient lip colour and chest movement easier. All of the air being transferred between the rescuer and the casualty is filtered before it is being dispersed. The Laerdal Pocket Face Mask Complete also includes an oxygen inlet that helps the delivery of supplemental oxygen during ventilation. The pocket mask is latex free to prevent allergic reactions. It also comes with gloves and wipe for total protection.
